After fans see pictures of Liam with a broken arm, Andy tweets this:
On the same day (September 15) we have a daily mail article agreeing with this tweet.
It includes both of these quotes:
A source told MailOnline that the Best Song Ever singer 'got a bit carried away' as he was busting a move during his Irish band mate's celebrations on Sunday night.
MailOnline reached out to the boys' representatives for comment, who insisted that Liam had injured his arm 'whilst training' but would give no further comment.
Gossip Cop uses the 'training' story in its headline, saying this:
In actuality, a rep for Payne tells Gossip Cop that the star “hurt his hand while training” with weights.
Sugarscape is appropriately sarcastic about this conflicting narrative:
Although it was originally reported that Payno ended up breaking his bits and pieces from break dancing during a wild night out, the official line from the 1D reps quickly changed to say that it was in fact the result of a training injury.
We don't know about you, but this has left us highly suspicious and after at least five minutes careful investigation, we have come upon five conspiracy theories thay may just reveal what really happened.Â
and in a interview released today we have liam saying this:
watch he sounds rather awkward/hesitant giving this explanation (which he was clearly put up to). Look how evasive he is about the gym story - he doesn't say "I broke my arm at the gym" or some more direct statement.
Instead, he goes with the incredibly vague "it was a gym thing" then almost immediately covers with a joke:
and only clarifies the full story after a second leading question from the interviewer. You'd think if he had actually broken his arm at the gym, he could have gone into more detail right away and more directly.
I love how '21 year old breaks arm while partying' is so controversial 1dhq has to issue an obvious coverup like this, while you know that certain other things that should be addressed, won't be.
