I’ve seen that GW releases games other than their main two titles, but I’ve never been drawn to any of them. Then I saw the new Porphyrion knights for Adeptus Titanicus. After looking over the Titanicus line, I decided I wanted to paint them all. So, that is now my intention, starting with the Porphyrion.

I liked the House Malinax color scheme, and settles for that. I already have contrast paint perfect for the job. Or so I thought. I had an idea of using Space Wolves Grey over Leadbelcher, for the metal parts. That didn’t go well, so I had to redo it with The Fang.

I particularly enjoyed doing the weathering effects, I imagine it will be even more enjoyable as the models get bigger. The models aren’t entirely done. At some point I’ll order some Titanicus buildings to use as ruins on the figures base.
