Andrei wasn't normally the one who decided he needed publicity, it found him. If they wanted him to continue to uphold the idea that he was just a business man with multiple lucrative and legal means of income, then there were steps that had to be taken to ensure that. That's why she was here, the collaboration effort with what she might have in mind for whatever they were to do with their new website for the club and his other company needed to look as perfect for what they were going for as possible. That and an article he was asked to do needed pictures and he hired her, much easier to control than a photographer of a magazine. In the end, during their little break, he wasn't entirely sure how they got onto such a serious topic but he knew he could give some insight without giving too much of his own self away. "People are often cruel, disgusting and cold." Andrei replies, giving her his own outlook on the world that he had since he was a small child. "It's why you make sure they can't control you. You do the opposite of what they think you can do."

she lost sight of him 20 minutes ago though can still hear his heart within the walls of her their penthouse where the New Year party she's hosting is in full swing. the band, her brothers, a couple plus ones, & few friends are gathered on her first floor, watching the ball on the big screen as midnight closes in. it doesn't take long to find him, taking a moment to himself on the balcony outside the master bedroom, Shadow & Theo laying nearby as she approaches his side.

" so, who was going to get that kiss at midnight, hm ? " she teases, motioning to the dogs while tucking herself against him & wraps her arms around his shoulders, the 6 - inch heels giving her the height she needs to leave a brush of a kiss to his cheek. " because i reserved mine for you & luckily it seems we get to have some privacy. "

───  THE  WORDS  SAT  LIKE  LEAD  in  the  hollow  of  Shiloh’s  chest,  the  sinking  feeling  that  she’d  been  trying  to  push  into  the  back  of  her  mind  now  demanding  her  attention  as  it  latched  onto  her  heart  and  dragged  it  down  into  her  stomach.  For  a  while  now,  a  guilt  had  been  FESTERING,  eating  away  at  her  like  maggots  on  rotting  meat,  and  oh,  if  that  wasn’t  exactly  what  she  felt  like:  ROTTEN.  Zehra  had  always  been  so  kind  to  her,  so  sweet,  so  gentle,  and  all  she’d  been  able  to  offer  her  in  return  was  FLIMSY  promises  and  a  brand-new  paranoia  to  add  to  her  already  warped  perception  of  reality. 

            Slow  and  threatening  like  a  rising  tide,  Shiloh  felt  the  waves  of  SHAME  begin  to  swallow  her  up,  but  still  she  shook  her  head  and  flashed  a  smile,  if  only  to  offer  some  comfort.  It  was  hard  not  to  when  she  was  looking  at  that  pretty  face.  ❝  The  hell  did  that  come  from?  ❞  She  asked  through  feigned  laughter,  although  she  already  knew  the  answer.  She’d  been  distant  lately,  the  time  between  their  meetings  growing  further  and  further  apart,  and  even  now,  standing  in  front  of  each  other,  it  felt  as  though  they  were  a  world  away.  It  had  all  been  in  an  effort  to  stop  Zehra  from  SPIRALING,  to  help  her  find  her  grip  on  reality,  to  keep  her  safe,  but  it  seemed  now  that  she’d  only  dug  a  different  grave.  ❝  I’m  not  going  anywhere,  okay?  I’m  here.  ❞  She  closed  the  space  between  them,  looping  her  arms  around  the  other  woman’s  torso  to  offer  her  a  gentle  embrace.            For  the  LIFE  of  her,  Shiloh  couldn’t  understand  why  the  other  woman  still  wanted  her  around,  especially  when  she’d  become  such  an  obvious  BURDEN.  She  would  have  been  lying  if  she’d  said  it  would’ve  been  easy  for  her  to  walk  away  now  though,  even  if  it  was  for  Zehra’s  own  good.  Selfishly,  she  wanted  to  stay.

───  AS  THOUGH  SHE’D  THOUGHT  THAT  she’d  somehow  been  invisible  the  entire  time,  the  question  had  Shiloh  glancing  around  the  dark  parking  lot,  searching  the  SHADOWS  for  anyone  besides  herself  that  the  inquiry  could  have  possibly  been  aimed  at.  Other  than  the  rustling  of  some  unknown  creature  in  the  dumpster  behind  the  concert  venue,  the  area  was  VACANT  though,  soulless  and  barren  aside  from  herself  and  the  man  that  stood  in  the  doorway  of  the  tour  bus.

          ❝  No.  ❞  Her  answer  came  out  plain  and  edgeless,  unhindered  by  SHAME  or  the  embarrassment  of  having  been  caught.  It  wasn’t  like  she  wasn’t  telling  the  truth;  it  wasn’t  him  that  she’d  been  following,  but  rather  the  ghost  that  happened  to  be  in  his  general  vicinity.  A  drawn-out  SILENCE  filled  the  space  between  them  then,  her  hands  by  her  sides  as  she  held  his  gaze,  long  lashes  blinking  away  the  darkness  that  hung  like  a  veil  between  them.  ❝  You  do  have  a  stalker.  It’s  just  not  me.  ❞ 

chloe sneaks up behind him not at all quiet, scissors in hand "this is for your own good, andrei...!"

He'd assumed she'd just been sneaking up behind him to give him a hug, how wrong he had been. Andrei had done nothing but relaxing on the couch, a perfect level for her to commit the attack she had no doubt been wanting to do for a long time. "Chloe? What are you––" His question is immediately caught off as emerald gaze lands upon the scissors as his head turns to her direction. "Hey, wait, can we talk about this???"
