a interested expression adorned his face, thankfully hidden by the paper bag. flug was sure black hat wouldn't be pleased if he knew his new.... employee was so fascinated by him, but to be fair, flug never expected such a creature to be the famous and infamous black hat. it only made sense now why all the other villains he'd known talked so highly about him. from the rich charcoal skin to the unsettling way he carried himself, the scientist could only wonder if he had thought this as deeply as he'd like. and while the answer always was yes, of course, the demon in front of him didn't seem like any of the other villains he'd worked for.
no, there was some ancient intelligence glowing within that red eye that only something inhuman, something that wasn't from this world could have, and that fact only augmented his anxiety. though, if he was killed, at least it wasn't in the hands of some pathetic hero, or a low budget villain. flug was, all in all, as hopeful as someone in his situation could be.
