The full outfit plus a little breakdown. Like I said, this is a blend of the live and cartoon Maleficent and here’s how: . Cartoon Maleficent wore black and purple robes so I did a purple shirt to reference that. However in the live action movies, her robes were shiny (probably leather) so I did a leather trench and leather pants and platforms. I have the live action one’s horns and arguably the bird since it’s all black and not yellow beaked (if you want to split hairs). And a final ref to the cartoon (besides the green eyeshadow) is the dragon necklace... though if you can see it any pictures, I have green flames on my ring finger and thumb nails but that’s in both versions 😂 . Fun fact tho, I had no clue what to do with my hair. the idea to braid it came from Conall from the sequel. The day I was posting all my Disneyland pics, I noticed my friend Emily (@disturbedbutgorgeous ) liking all the pictures as I posted them, her being an artist and having once drawn Conall from Maleficent 2, I chuckled to myself going “ha ha what if she’s drawing me? Ha” but I kneeewwww she wasn’t. She’s just a great friend
The next morning I woke up and saw she DM’d me a picture. As a friend of hers and fan of her art, I couldn’t wait to see it. I opened it AND IT WAS ME‼️‼️ I just about DIED! 😩😭🙌 and now I have a new wallpaper for my phone and laptop😂
Look at this!! She made me an AC👏TU👏AL👏 DISNEY CARTOON! (Villain or male princess, up to you)!!‼️ .
She gave me the cheekbones I drew on! She made the bird a real bird sitting on my shoulder (fun fact/full disclosure: I wanted to do that too but I couldn’t think of a way to pin him there without like ripping or putting holes in the garment or maybe hot gluing him to magnets and like yeah RIGHT! so she’s actually psychic) and she gave me that square ass jaw I had and loved that day, too‼️🙌😩😭😭‼️🙌
