Continuing on from the last reference dump, here are full references for (basically) all of the Maldeclones! They should be less copy-and-paste than their previous designs. Which one is your favorite? (I can’t add captions to images for some reason, so this post shows who represents what emotion.)
And so, the massively delayed reference dump has been completed. I have a few things left to do still, but I am finally ready to make new art. Thank fuck.
It's a Maldedrom family portrait! Except Rin is there, and half of the Clones are missing.
If the Maldedrom ever needs to talk to a human, she obviously doesn’t show up in her true form - that would cause many problems. Instead, she uses a smaller clone of herself to do the talking, as well as other tasks that she can’t normally do. As these clones are only ~16 feet tall, they can be humanoid under all conditions and, thus, wear the full set of Maldedrom armor.Â
The biggest distinguishing feature between the clones are their masks - whatever expression is shown on them dictates the personality of the clone. This clone represents happiness and mercy.
