❤️ (heart) - Who is the most important person to your character? To what lengths would they go to protect this person? His dad Dallas is. For protection since Dallas is already dead, he can’t do much. But he would get into fights with people trashing his name

💔 (broken heart) - Who has your character hurt most? Physically or emotionally? How did it feel? Do they regret it? Probably Sodapop. He doesn’t mean to but he has mixed feelings about Soda being his dad when he wants his actual dad

❗️(exclamation point) - What was the scariest moment of your character’s life? Does it still affect them? Right now it’s moving into Soda and Sandy’s care. That may change in the future though

🥩 (steak) - Does your oc have any coping mechanisms? Healthy or unhealthy? Writing or listening to music helps him a lot. He does smoke occasionally as well

🥀 (wilted flower) - How does your character deal with stressful situations? Is their fear response fight, flight, freeze or fawn? He freezes. He tries to walk away from stressful situations or act like he doesn’t care

🍓 (strawberry) - Does your oc believe in anything? Are they superstitious? Religious? Atheistic? Has anything in their past made them this way? He is kinda religious. He believes in God (Christian). But he doesn’t go to church or really practice any religious things

🍒 (cherries) - Does your character have a best friend? How long have they known each other? What do they like most about each other? How did they meet? He does not have a best friend currently, I haven’t written him one

🚨 (siren) - What’s your character’s relationship with the law? Have they ever been arrested? What for? What are their opinions on law enforcement? He has been arrested a few times, for loitering or small theft. Sometimes he wasn’t even doing anything but because of his dad the cops assume. He hates the cops and thinks they are unfair

🍎 (apple) - Does your oc go to school or take classes? Did they go to college? What was/is their favorite subject? Did/do they get good grades? Did/do they enjoy school? He does go to school. He will go to collage for English and Music Theory. He loves English. He is a decent student not the best but not the worst. He doesn’t see school as much more then a means to an end

🐞 (ladybug) - What does a perfect day look like for your oc? What do they do? Who do they see? He would go for a drive with Steve then hangout with Pony and watch the sunset. If he could bring himself to he would love to show Pony his music

☎️ (telephone) - Does your character know anyone’s phone number by heart? Do they prefer calling or texting? Who’s their favorite person to call/text? Do they have any typing quirks? He knows Sodapop’s (his adoptive dad) and Ponyboy’s (his uncle) phone numbers. His favorite person to call is Pony

🧣(scarf) - What comforts your oc? Is it an item? An action? A person? Whatever it is, how any why does it comfort them? Pony makes him feel safe, he feels like Pony a lot of the time does in the book so Pony gets him. He also finds comfort in his dad’s jacket. He likes to wear it to feel protected

👠 (heels) - How does your oc dress? Are they stylish or casual? Do they keep up with trends or do their own thing? Do they prefer designer clothes or going to the thrift store? Do they have a signature item of clothing? He wears the same worn down blue hoodie and grey torn jeans. He prefers to wear the same things over and over rather then get new clothes

🍄 (mushroom) - Does your character like being in nature or do they prefer the indoors? Do they have any outdoor hobbies like camping or fishing? If they prefer the indoors, why? He likes being outdoors and watching the sunset or playing his guitar. He likes to listen to the sounds of nature, they are a song to him

🩸 (blood) - Is your oc squeamish? Are they disturbed by the sight of blood? Have they ever been in a situation where they had to overcome being squeamish? He doesn’t like looking at blood but he won’t throw up if he sees it. He has had to patch up injuries before

✂️ (scissors) - Has your character ever cut their own hair? What about someone else’s? How did it turn out? He has not, Soda cuts his hair for him

1. What does your character’s laugh sound like? Soft. It’s very rare

2. Is your character obsessed with anything? The Outsiders funnily enough. In this Pony does publish the book. It’s a way for Mack to feel close to his dad

3. How would your character react if they were gifted something handmade? He wouldn’t have any special reactions, homemade gifts are normal on the Eastside since they don’t have money

4. What is your character's favourite season+weather+time of day combination? He love Spring mornings during the rain. He likes to think of the rain as a song

6. If your character could erase one thing from the world, what would it be? Bad cops. He has gotten into trouble despite not having broken the law just because he is a greaser and his father caused trouble

7. What about your character still remains a mystery to you? His feelings on Sandy, his adoptive mother

8. Someone shows your character a photograph of themselves when they were five. How do they react? What is the picture like? Embarrassment, Soda is his adoptive father this happens all the time. He would definitely look unhealthy and shy

9. If your character had to name a cat right now, what would it be? Cade

10. How does your character feel about people seeing them cry? He hates it, he will only cry in front of Soda

11. What's the easiest way to annoy your character? Ask him a bunch of questions, he prefers to stay quiet

12. What's the easiest way to entertain your character? Give him a guitar, he’ll be entertained for days

13. How would your character react if they learned they're immortal? (if they are, how do they feel about it?) He would be disappointed, death is the one way he gets to meet his father. He also had a fascination with death as a child and he wants answers

14. What thought or memory your character is aching to share with someone but for whatever reason, never has had the chance? He wants to tell Ponyboy how he feels about his book, he just can’t ever bring himself too. He wants Pony to know he gets it, he gets sunsets and staying gold and how important family is

15. If your character had to get a (new) tattoo right now, what would it be? “Winston” across his shoulder, he will wear his name with pride

17. What is your character's most unique physical attribute? He has a small bit of hair that is naturally white

20. Which sense is the most important to your character? Hearing, he is a musician

21. Who does your character think about when they want to feel safe? Ponyboy, he adores his uncle and he knows he will get him

22. On a scale from 1 to 10, how much does your character's past haunt them? 8! I gave him a lot of trauma from such a young age
