Hell yes! I'm going to go by the most recent part of their story that I've written, as I usually do when answering stuff!

Firstly, I'll say that these characters inhabit a fantasy world. The technology is roughly renaissance-level, the political climate some hybrid of the fall of the Roman Empire and the settling of the New World, plus mythological creatures.

Anora is a war bastard who was raised in a monastery. She's also unfortunate enough to have inherited her father's talent for reading and manipulating dreams, but unlike him, she's received no training in it and has to muddle through figuring it out. She has a well-rounded, classical education and is a skilled fighter with a spear (though she uses a variety of polearms depending on what she can find and what she needs). Once she was an adult, she decided to become a settler on the "new" continent of Vera (discovered a hundred or so years before, but only settled by humans recently). She also met and married Egon there. She's very spiritual, self-aware and quiet, but also prone to be sullen and pessimistic.

Egon is from a wildly different ethnicity and part of the world as Anora, but ended up in the same place. He's a younger son of a landed merchant in his home country, a veteran of two wars, and has often hired himself out as a bodyguard. He's competent with a lot of weapons, but best with a short sword and shield. Too bad for him, that's not what he gets to use in Vera, where most of what he has to fight is a hell of a lot bigger and more dangerous than other humans. He's a very skilled warrior, agile and catlike, but nowadays he really hates fighting, particularly without any immediate necessity. Animals and children like him and vice versa. He's really a gentle soul that was shoehorned into the wrong profession early in life. He's optimistic and kind, but that's balanced by his being traumatized, directionless and completely lacking ambition after the wars.
