Chapter 1: Tuesday

Story Summary:

Upon discovering that he has a rare mental illness by the name of synethesia, Blaine Anderson willingly desides to join a support group for teenage boys with rare and unusual mental, psycological and neurological disorders. As he becomes more acquainted with the boys at Dalton Mental, he realizes that anything can happen, including something he didn’t think was possible in this dark, messed up world that he inhabits; pure, elemental, unconditional, ineffable love.

“Look, doctor, you don’t have to act like this is all normal. That’s the reason I'm here, isn’t it? To figure out what’s wrong with me? To figure out why I’m insane like this-“

“Blaine,” the doctor interrupted, standing up and abandoning her desk to occupy the chair next to his, taking her yellow memo pad with her, “you are not insane. I can say that, I’m a doctor. I have a Ph.D. I know what insane looks like and you, Blaine, do not fit that picture.”

“But how come this happens to me? Why am I like this?”
