To close the night, a toast with hide and @makowashimai, overseen by the X plushies I made.
@makowashimai and I got to meet a lovely @rivill, @rawhan and company to look around London's Chinatown and visit the British Museum. It was great to meet all of you!
Finally got to see the Tower Bridge. #towerbridgelondon #makowashimai #londonadventures #spiderandvampire (at Tower Bridge)
Weekend (in London)
We (@makowashimai and I) just returned from London at ass-o’clock this morning... I have so many more pictures of our London adventures and the X Japan show, but I have yet to go through them... When I get the chance, I’ll get to work on that so I can share them, but first I have to do my work with the deadlines fast approaching... DX
Regardless, we had a ton of fun making new friends (like @erebor-kingdom) and meeting up with others already known somehow (such as @rivill and @rawhan and our British friends), although our hectic schedules meant we didn’t get to spend too much time with many of them.
After a whirlwind weekend, we spent most of yesterday in Heathrow Airport waiting for our flight that was delayed by 7 hours - we didn’t want to screw up and miss it or have it actually arrive earlier without being there - and got back Stateside around 1 am. Luckily, we have great friends who don’t mind picking us up at the airport so late/early. On top of that, there was hardly anyone on the flight, so we were able to essentially sit wherever we want and eat as much of the food as we liked.
Despite my baggage being delayed in Atlanta until after the concert and the delayed flight home, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. <3

Have you ever been to Chicago?
Yes, when I was relatively little still... so I don’t remember much!
Send me "have you evers" and I'm gonna answer with yes or no
@echoflare, @makowashimai, and I went to an ice rink to enjoy open skate! It was @makowashimai's first time on the ice, and she did pretty well!
What was your favorite vacation?
Oh that's a tough one asgdshdfj
Probably either when I went to Orlando when I was like 12 since we went to Disneyworld and Sea World and Nickelodeon and stuff. I was terrified of roller coasters before that trip and overcame that while I was there (by riding MANY coasters MANY times lmao!!). But just being 12 and seeing all that stuff I really enjoyed back then made it a lot of fun. We went there because my alma mater's band kids got to go every 4 years to march in one of their parades and it was the year my sister was a freshman. So that was kinda neat too!
Either that, or when my dad and I went to Colorado back in like 2010. I had just suffered a job loss and he decided to go on a whim so it was a nice little getaway from the general stress of life, and Colorado is a beautiful place. My dad is like my rock that keeps me grounded, so I always like getting to spend time with him doing stuff like that once and a while.
I went to NYC when I was like 9 with my aunt too and that was also really fun. I remember going to like the world's largest toy store and stuff like that. One of our taxi drivers almost got in an accident and I faceplanted it against the glass between the passengers and the driver when he braked hard LMAO. I still have pictures of me and my family standing on top of the World Trade Center so that's kind of a neat little memory I have of a place that no longer exists. I believe that was the trip where I got to see and swim in the ocean for the first time too. We also went to the Statue of Liberty (I discovered I have claustrophobia there LOL) and Ellis Island. It was really neat tho, I'd love to go back now as an adult.
I also went to London with my fellow band kids for new years in 2005-2006. But idk if that counts as a vacation or not since it was chaperoned by school staff and we went to march in the new years parade lol
