Summary: Makoto was the God of Earth. That much he was sure of. Other than that though, the God really didn't know what his role was. All he knew was that he now had a planet and that there were a bunch of other Gods running around trying to help the humans. They assumed Earth had no God and had oh so gratefully stepped in to help manage the place. Makoto on one hand couldn't believe the audacity they had. But on the other, he really didn't want to reveal his existence, so instead he just helped from the sidelines to fix their fuck ups. Besides, the only God he even remotely trusted was the Goddess of Death, Shinigami.
This time it's Makoto's backstory! This piece spoils part 1 so if you're concerned about spoilers read that first. Also, thank you Alfie for helping name Old Amaterasu CEO, who shall be called Yamato!
