Gotta ask: Have you read Elseworlds where Batman becomes a vampire?
I think there's only one universe where batman becomes a vampire and that's in the Dracula crossover which I have not read Im not really the biggest fan of crossover stories
We didn't see Mike's corpse of his funeral, we didn't see any hint that he might have survived either. I feel we got no closure and I'm feeling kinda unbalanced
It's frustrating. I'm angry and sad and all-around bummed, but I also feel like I can't just put the whole thing to rest because we have one more issue of Devil's Reign and then the new Daredevil #1 in a few months. The lack of closure could be just Zdarsky neglecting the character, as he has throughout this run, or it could be a hint that there's more to this plotline-- that maybe we’re finally going to get the Mike story we’ve been waiting for. (Slight spoiler: he put out a newsletter today that includes a single contextless panel from Devil's Reign: Omega that seems like it might be hinting at one of the things you mention, so I'll just link that here.) I want to hope that the vagueness is in anticipation of something real, but I just don't know anymore with this creative team. I've been disappointed too many times already. I'm feeling very unbalanced about the whole thing too and am planning to read some fun back issues to take my mind off it, because what else can we do? Hang in there...
The not knowing how Steven came to be is killing me. You are way too good, thank you
Don’t worry, we’ll find out.... eventually... :)
So it seems that in What if? in the verse where Peggy Carter is Captain Britain, Steve Rogers is Iron Man. How does that work in Pan-Universal meetings?
I’m still working out the Rules(TM) for the AU, but the main reoccurring meetings are between groups of the same person, regardless of code names. So Peggy would be in a Peggy group, and Steve in a Steve group. But maybe there are occasionally special meetings based on costumes instead?

Oh hey, you changed your blog layout! I personally find it easier to navigate, and easier to follow your comic (big fan, btw)
Ah, good to know! (And thank you!!! <3) Yeah, I've been meaning to change it for a while, I just kept forgetting. The old one wasn't showing posts in chronological order and it was just. Confusing.
#Onlyingotham you see an army of clowns chasing the Joker for being a bad clown, not bad and a clown, bsd at being a clown. #imisskeystone
makiruz reblogged your post:The Phantom Menace is the best movie ever because...
Don’t forget Amazon also has a seat in Congress. No seriously, why does the Trade Federation has a seat in the Senate?
Corruption!
Everyone (not necessarily you) likes to say “ohhhh the politics are so boring” and “lol remember when it was about trade disputes?” and then say “haha, a corporation has a seat in the Senate” and yes. That’s one of the problems.
Honestly, it’s like what we have now in the US, but more transparent; I would imagine that there was a bill passed prohibiting corporations from funding Senatorial campaigns, and in exchange, wealthy corporate planets like Muunilist and Neimoidia were able to secure direct representation for interplanetary corporations (probably running on logic similar to “The Hosnian system has five inhabited planets under its representation, so clearly interested parties can be spaced between worlds, therefore a corporate alliance can represent similar elements”).
Of course, then that gives the Trade Federation direct access to silence worlds they disagree with and interfere with their affairs. Especially because the delegates for the Trade Federation would have a lot more influence over other senators and systems than Naboo (imagine if Amazon did have a seat in the House of Representatives and it turned into a bickering match between a county in North Dakota and Amazon...are you going to side with Hilly Farmville or the organization that has fifty warehouses and three corporate tech centers scattered throughout your state?). Also, Palpatine points out that Valorum’s advisers are in the pockets of the Trade Federation (stock! shares! What happens if the Federation is exposed and the value plummets? They’ll have to sell their house on some planet in the galaxy, and then how can they have Perfect Weather no matter what season they choose to vacation during?), so the moment they whisper in his ear, any resolve will shatter.
I’m sure the Space Stock Market also soared many years prior when it was announced that the Trade Federation would get involved; Senators probably invested in Federation stock before the deal went through, then voted for it and increased their value and personal wealth. And when it started to become apparent that the Federation had a chance of getting that seat, what were the senators who were opposed to the initiation going to do? Sell their shares in Federation stock, right before the value spikes? No...let’s keep that and reap some benefits.
Money makes everything turn in the galaxy, but I’m surprised that the Senators would work so hard at insider trading and corrupt trade practices when weapons-dealing was right there.
