You either have to get used to it or learn to accept "no." Now, as a guy myself , I wouldn't know exactly what it's like to be in this situation, but I was in a similar situation once, and I'm going to tell you about it now. So one time I was at a restaurant with some people I knew and the restaurant sold pancakes. One of the people I was sitting with had pancakes and didn't want to finish them. He asked me if I wanted the pancakes and I said "no, I don't want pancakes." He kept insisting even after I said that 4 or 5 times. Finally I said I was diabetic and he could not have taken away those pancakes fast enough. I am diabetic, so I didn't make something up to get out of it, but really he should have just accepted my "no" in the first place. I shouldn't have to say I'm diabetic to get out of it. It's bullshit. And this is just pancakes we're talking about. God knows what women have to put up with in terms of the dating scene. And on a regular basis too. It has to suck at least 1000 times more than this one interaction did. I didn't even have to make up something. I can't imagine making up one thing, let alone a plethora on a moment's notice. Point is it sucks for everyone, so just accept "no" as an answer.
