#makevember day 12: Chop. I consider cooking, still “making”. It involves a lot of time management, preparation, balance and care. Cooking for me an excuse to look for an use some really knice knafs. I recently traded for a short cleaver and it came naked from the maker. So, I made a nice saya sheath for it from sandwiched oak, padauk, walnut and the outside a super nice figured Birdseye maple. #Makevember Day 10: Material. Every year, the Edge has a chilli bowl sale to raise funds for itself. Operated by a good friend @elise_edge, I try and go down every year to make bowls for them to help continue programming of this awesome artist run space. @jennykins__ came too and made of her signature slab built tall tumblers. When I started to learn to throw in University, I sat down and made about 100 chilli bowls.
