Make-up isle
Ok, tiny rant here. We've all been that person in the make-up isle who had No clue what we were even looking at, at some point. We've also been the one who could hear the more "experienced" people giggling or getting annoyed cause we've been standing in front of something they want for like 5 minutes.
If you are the above mentioned "experienced" person and you are Seriously giggling or saying crap behind the confused persons back I really hope any make-up you buy makes your face break out so bad it's not even funny.
It is Your JOB to help the less experienced person, I don't care if you don't work there, I don't care if you find it annoying, you sit there and HELP!!
I don't work at freaking Wal-Mart or Sallys yet every time I see someone (or even a small group) that looks hopelessly lost or has been debating on what to get for the past ten minutes you find a delicate way to insert yourself into that situation. Even if you have social anxiety (and nobody sit there and tell me I don't know what having social anxiety is like, I have such bad social anxiety I take online college courses and can't even comment on someone else's post to get the needed points without almost having a panic attack) all you really have to do is sneak a look at what they are looking at, nine times out of ten I've found the biggest issue is deciding on what kind/color of concealer/foundation to get, and grab the color/ product you think would work best and casually hand it to them and barely mumble, "this works great and matches your skin tone," and walk away.
I have done this so many times that after a while the anxiety starts to go down, especially when they take your advice because it builds up not only your confidence but theirs as well.
I can guarantee that if you think, oh maybe they have sensitive skin or oily skin, they will end up either mumbling about it or make a face at the different products that don't specifically state what they are looking for.
Ok, sorry, I'm done now. I just had to rant about that for a second.
