pH testing adventures... first is the planted 10 (around 6.6 to 6.8... a little more yellowy in person), second is from the tap... greater than 7.6. So the next was two different high range pH tests. First read over 8.8, second more like 8.2 to 8.4 and I did two more after that that read 8.4... then the test strip reading on my tap water which shows a nitrate reading (which shows up with the liquid test too but I think it depends on the time of year... it's fertilizing season currently so...), extreme hardness (GH), no chlorine (which probably means my treatment facility uses chloramine or something else like a lot of facilities so stop with the whole 'just leave water out for the chlorine to evaporate' thing), a low KH, and a pH of 7.2 or 7.4 though I don't like the ranges it tests for... not enough room for variation. Test kit hell boys...
