I want Edward to meet muses who push him and get under his skin.  I want muses to infuriate him and to make him think.  I want muses to get in his face and challenge him.  I want muses who make attempts on his life.  I want fights that leave him in a bloody heap on the floor.  I want situations that leave him feeling scared and broken. I want him to grow as a muse.  I don’t want everything to be happy and fluffy. I don’t want every interaction to be a pleasant one.  I want him to go through problems.  I want him to face challenges. I want him to build relationships and forge bonds with other people. I want muses who call him out on his on cynical bullshit. 

Don’t go easy on my muse just because he’s a teenager. Don’t go easy on my muse just because he’s young. Don’t idolize my muse and place him on a pedestal.  He’s human, nothing less and nothing more. 

If your muse thinks he’s an asshole and wants to slap him; slap him.

If your muse wants to fight him; fight him. 

Edward has two legs; make him use them. 

Go hard against him if you want to. 

Please just remember that, should you go after my muse- challenge him; hurt him; scream at him; try to kill him - he will respond in kind. 

Don’t expect my muse not to defend himself. He will and he’ll be a complete asshole about it. 

Don’t think for a second that my muse will be nice to every person he meets - even more so when his brother isn’t with him. 

Don’t think for a second that Edward Elric is a weak teenager that can be pushed around.
