Mako and Eska, sitting in complete silence for thirty minutes as the waiter at the restaurant gets progressively more nervous as these two powerful benders donโt say a word or make a single facial expression until the literal end of the date, thinking this is the most tense thing heโs ever born witness to.
Eska, paying the bill: โI am paying because you are poor and I am wealthy. I am also demonstrating to you my worth as a provider, as money and power are attractive and I possess an abundance of both.โ
Mako: โItโs working.โ
Eska: โThis has been a good date.โ
Mako: โYep.โ
Eska: โI felt like something was missing, however.โ
