Could I ask about the Skeletal Servants annnnd…Dacian the Vampire? I know they might’ve been already revealed during the ask about Selena’s ask but I had a feeling there’s more to them. if not, could I ask about Jim the Gargoyle?
Dacian's been talked about already, so...
The many, MANY skeletal servants of the Maison de Monster are all the creations of Ms. Selena Nekamanzesse, a professional necromancer known for... avoiding work and responsibilities. So, in response, she had made these servants out of spare bones and whatever is laying about (and conveniently the Maison is just near a graveyard) to do all the hard physical labor for her.
All of them have names that start with B. Yes, that means some have names like Barry, Belinda, Benson, Bertha... but the majority of them have names that are turned into names starting with B, like Bonathan, Bavid, Bessica, and Bisabella.
They may seem to be sentient, but they're all more or less just automated drones that do whatever is told of them. While Selena is their creator, it only means that her word is the ultimate for any one of them, superseding everyone else's commands. Otherwise, everyone is free to tell them anything for them to do. They are very simple-minded, and may get things wrong from time to time, so do try to explain things concisely for them.
They all talk with the same voice, and look virtually identical to each other. Yet, Selena seems to be able to differentiate them all from one another very easily.
Jim the gargoyle, the gym instructor of the Maison, is a total rockhead of a stonecake. ... ... ...don't look at me, these are all what Jim constantly describes himself as upon introducing himself to newcomers...
He's all about exercise, and loves to constantly be in motion. Ironically, despite his race's reputation, he almost never sits down for too long, and is perhaps the most mobile stone statue that anyone has ever seen.
A favorite trick (for himself) that he likes to do for any newcomer is to ask them to punch him in the abs as hard as they can. The moment someone does attempt to, he turns himself into stone at the last second. Gets a big laugh out of him... not so much the other party involved.
He is a rather stubborn man, rigid about his practices and routines, and tends to be inflexible to other people's needs. His co-workers tend to call him quite literally "set in stone" about his regimens, and he can be quite harsh during team outings and their exercise segments.
