For two people who’d spent the better part of ten years either glued at the hip or talking every single day, the fact that she hadn’t talked to Maisie in over three weeks and had only facetimed her once or twice was really driving Sophie crazy. She hadn’t been in the best place mentally, so that had taken up most of her time, just getting better, but now that she was in a bit of a better mental space, she’d texted her sister to get together for a walk in the park. They both had dogs, so it was a necessity, plus this could count towards their sanctioned government exercise time, right? So, she put on a pair of tights and a shirt, a big hoodie over everything and her hair up in a ponytail to hide the fact that she hadn’t washed it in two days. Putting Tuna into her harness, Sophie wandered off to the place they had both agreed to meet in. Not hugging the brunette was the hardest thing, she had to fight every single fiber in her being, but she stayed as close as she could when she saw her “Moo! Hi babes” She said, reaching her free hand out even though she couldn’t grab her friend’s, pouting a bit “I’m gonna need one big cuddle when all of this is over” She huffed like a child playfully, looking down at Maisie’s bulldog “Had Sonny ever met Tuna?
