And then you missed a skill check— SHIT!

Wait.. phew, pebbles distracting.. Right— Where’s sprout.. He said he’d get you a heal if he found some tapes— Oh! Speaking of sprout..

Sprout: “Hey reader! I got some tapes, Do you need a heal now?”

Reader: “Of course I do sprout, Why else would I had asked..”

It wasn’t long before you had gotten back to your usual 2 hearts and completed the machine, There was only 11 to go.. You were on Floor 23 after all…

And I had forgotten to mention it was a blackout— With pebble TW AND Shelly TW, God I wonder how Pebble is doing distracting them..

You couldn’t see much through this blackout, And you ended up stumbling into another toon, specifically..

Bassie,

The toon you often notice watching you silently, You KNOW she wouldn’t ask to be your friend.. it would take too much of her social battery anyway..

Bassie: “Oh.. Reader— Sorry.. I thought you were a twisted, Do you need help getting back up?”

Reader: “…uh.. I’m fine..—“

Bassie: “Oh.. uh- ok…how are you on the machines..?”

Reader: “fine.. it’s not.. too bad,”

Reader: “I should probably get back to the others and keep extracting,”

Bassie: “WAIT—“

And then you realize what just came out of your mouth…

Reader: “NOTHING NOTHING—! DONT WORRY ABOUT IT, IM JUST GONNA GO BACK TO EXTRACTING!!”

Bassie: “WAIT— READER!”

You ended up bolting out of the room, face absolutely flushed, and GOD you looked stupid, Bassie was just confused on what happen, she doesn’t know what’s between a compliment and denial about saying it.

Bassie: “Hugh…I flunked her…”

Vee: “I saw the whole thing, You realized that right?”

Bassie just LURCHES into the air after Vee catches her, Either a high pitched squeak coming out of her mouth or an eagle screaming.

Bassie: “VEEEE!! I TOLD YOU TO STOP SNEAKING UP ON ME LIKE THAT!”

Vee: “Delilah was right.. You really DO have some problems, Whatever. Just..Go do extracting or whatever, I won’t judge you two Bloomington~”

Bassie: “NEVER tell this to anyone.”

And she flusteredly bolted out,

Safe to say that two people ended up flustered when you guys came out of the elevator! Vee didn’t even wait to tell her toon handler, She never said she promised not to,

…Well, Bassie didn’t talk to you for a week after that and neither did you, yet Flyte caught onto your…

Ahem. subtle behavior around her, And now Flyte is wondering if your gay, And eggson just said “Ah..Young love..” when he mentioned it, And cocoa..

Well..

Cocoa was overexcited as usual, We are just hoping that she doesn’t tell any of the toons..
