lana started fostering kids pretty much right after she came back home in her mid-twenties

they are all metahumans (or mutants, if that's your vibe) her foundation couldn't find placements for (so, basically, they probably have 'behavioral issues', hard-to-control powers, or both)

i DO want her to adopt a couple of them, but that would require us talking about it, writing, etc. --- due to all [gestures] The Trauma, i'm not super willing to give her children in some verses who don't always exist for her. that's the thing i'm sensitive about

BUT re: the fosters, more generally, literally any mutual can get in on that (and they can easily be pre-existing characters). there are no real requirements other than what is outlined in the second bullet, and it can be a past thing or a present thing! so, like, a whole lot of flexibility re: ages of people

HER FOUNDATION. qilin. lana's the ceo, she's very involved but she very much does not run the day-to-day of anything. any altruistic-leaning people who want to fuck over luthor/lexcorp are welcome to come to me and we'll figure out some kind of position.

re: the specifics, they are basically a meta/mutant rights organization, i guess would be the easiest way to term it --- they do research (transparently and on a volunteer basis ONLY), organize support groups, help people find safe jobs/housing, provide training of various sorts (if you have an idea, i will welcome you to Just Do It, this is tumblr rp), and --- like i mentioned --- work a lot with foster kids

(eta: clients also welcome. somehow i did not say that outright)

lcorp spies are also much-beloved entities; like, lana is completely genuine about literally everything in this sphere, but she's also never Not Gonna Have started all this because of all the harm lex has done/wanting to do whatever she can to foil his shadier plans. so. yeah :-)
