We went to main Cliff at gogarth today! Beautiful weather and two classic routes! We started on Gogarth with me leading the second and last pitch and fred leading the first, third and fourth (combined together). The second and last pitch were the two most interesting. The second had a great initial traverse from the belay point out right which felt quite exposed. The last pitch had a burly steep move as a crux and the rest was fine. I got uber pumped trying to put gear in before the crux move and then had to rest on my gear (dammit!). Now I have to go back and do it clean! The second route we did was called emulator which was a superb crack line up a corner. It was sustained and had many options for jamming, bridging and laybacking. I managed to find lots of holds out left and right outside the crack which made the route less strenuous. Fred led the climb clean, I found it fine on second although it always feels easier when you don't have the panic of placing protection! We took a traverse track back from the top of this pitch and got an ice cream before heading home.
