When Rhea walked into the locker room, Danhausen was waiting. Feet propped up across the long bench, elbow propping him up as he laid down uncomfortably on his side across the partmented seat. The room was empty except him, and one wouldn't be wrong to assume that everyone had left due to his presence ( it was the fear of being cursed, he knew it! ) .
The way his face lit up was as absurd as he was, teeth on display as he loudly greeted: "Mommy! It is I, the very nice, very evil Danhausen!" Nevermind that her nickname wasn't ' mommy ' , Danhausen scurried to sit up. He almost fell off the bench, narrowly catching himself on the door of a nearby locker.
He stood then, hunched shoulders accompanying the clasping of his hands. He either didn't notice the look on her face or didn't care, seeing as he immediately stepped closer despite a lack of invite.
"He has come for an alliance!" Danhausen realised, after a beat of silence, that she may need a reason to agree. So he led with the only thing he had to pitch any sort of tag team: "You saw what happened to Dom, right? Pretty eviiiil.~" Yes, because coincidentally messing up someone she wasn't in good with, to his knowledge, warranted a friendship.

listen, when you've known someone for a while, you end up sleeping together. not in that way, you know. there have been plenty of times where mark has used the duke as a bed (his pleasure, of course, and mark isn't rude). his eyes are soft as he looks up at the duke from his position (and really, he doesn't want to stop looking away from the way his fingers knead in the duke's stomach, have to speak over the sound of the duke's purring).
there's a smile, the corners of his eyes crinkling. " i thought it'd be too much to ask for. " and it really is as simple as that. " it's nice. feels like i'm about to prepare something sweet. " a thought, his hands resting against the duke's belly. " if you aren't comfortable with this, you can tell me. y'won't hurt my feelings. "

Stooping to a lower shelf, Clear brightened when he saw an old portable DVD player collecting dust. It wasn't the most glamorous item on any of its shelves, but Atieno was one of those people who hardly cared. He possessed a similar interest in trekking off the beaten path. Even if it wasn't that far off.
"Maybe if we're lucky, we'll find some neat-o, creepy lost tapes, heh--"

metallic tang of blood bloomed against dana's teeth. her nose was throbbing, though duller than it had been moments ago, when driscoll left her on the ground and bleeding. she pushed through the heavy glass doors of the ambulance bay, pain only slightly relieved by the ac that gave a momentary cold compress against her bruises. for a woman who had spent thirty years navigating the controlled chaos of the ptmc, being the recipient of trauma felt more like a personal insult to her ego rather than her face or body.
dana adjusted her scrubs, movements stiff but practiced. she could feel the stares begin to snap toward her, wide eyed concern of her staff piercing into her skin. she bypassed several interns, eyes fixed forward on the central desk. every step back into the fluorescent glare of the ed felt like re - entering a battle she wasn't quite sure she was winning, anymore. the adrenaline was beginning to dip, leaving behind an exhaustion that somehow tasted worse than her in blood in her mouth. she didn't want anyone doting over her. she definitely didn't want to do an incident report. she wanted five minutes of silence and maybe an ice pack. but, of course, she didn't get that far. 'it's okay,' she said immediately as she was swarmed, closing her eyes as the room began to spin. 'i just got punched, i took a fall, that's it,' open starter.
