“Wait. Hold on. I’m a character?” A pause. “In a book?” Another, longer pause, “---Like Flynnigan Rider?” The boulder she sits on digs into her thigh over the silk purple skirt she wore. She feels the breeze in her hair, the grass  under her bare feet. If she was a character then how could you explain all of this? These feelings? These... emotions? 

“What happens when it says The End? Do I just... start over?” It was unreal and unfair. An endless loop where she was trapped in a tower? She had thought it had been 18 years! How long had her story been told? Was it even told anymore?

IT WAS A BAD DAY - which there seemed to be a few more of of those than good days lately. Alex was one to wear his emotions straight out on his sleeve and try to make it seem like he was somehow hiding them. Bu there were those who could read him like a book. It pissed him off most days, and other days he was thankful to have those around him who could tell.

“oh my garland!”   tone is filled with the same sort of endearing fondness that one might hear from noelle at some special event  ---  the first day of winter in any respective part of the world,  the birth   (   or anniversary of the birth   )   of a reindeer,   any birthday,  christmas eve,  and christmas itself.   mitten-clad hands lift to rest atop her heart at the mere thought behind the gesture  ---  she hasn’t even seen the sweaters yet,  and she knows they’re going to be jolly.  it’s cassandra,  after all,  why wouldn’t they be?   “that’s sweeter than cookies.  do i have to wait ‘til christmas,  or can i see them now?”
