A holiday. Those ---okay, those came often, but they usually weren’t fun or funny like this one was, so the demigod of fear just happened to be a tad bit excited. Hudson slides across the bench, a glass pane in hand and a marker in the other. He scribbles down a word and flashes the glass at him.
`Presley!`
A pause, as he erases it with the sleeve of his hand and scribbles out something else:
`I need your help!`

He knows it makes for better aim, for better survival in the world. Viorel’s going back to Romania for a different reason, however: a trial. His? No; Hudson’s. The demigod flips the scimitar in his hand and pivots around the dummy, at which points he slashes in sharp successions against its side with a final blow at its back. Sorin’s nearby, at which point he stands up with hackles raised. Viorel catches on, looking behind him towards the training grounds’ entrance.
“If you’re looking for a tutor, they’re not here.” He tells Presley, hand still gripping the scimitar. “What is it?”

It was a rather uneventful Saturday night (only at camp would the weekends feel so mundane), and Jordan was seated at the bar in the banquet hall, poring over some cold cases from the nineties. Many of the photos he’d amassed in his collection of evidence were rather grotesque, and certainly not something he spread out so much as he tucked them under his forearm. When another demigod joined the bar, he naturally scooted the folders out of view, and greeted their resident ghostbuster with a slight tip of his chin. “Here to drink?” It was such an obvious question, yet he wasn’t surprised by the overwhelming number of people that chose something non-alcoholic to have instead.

“Holy shitballs!” Dean grunted as he stumbled up the stairs of the Mageia house, arms filled with tomes and journals Agathys had politely forced him to study. Apparently being the new demigod at camp met he had a lot to catch up on, especially as a mage. Brown eyes connected with a one of the guys he assumed he was living with... though to be fair he seemed to fit the mold of a mage just as well as Dean himself did. “Agathys said I have to read all of these by tomorrow,” he looked at the brunet with pleading eyes. “I don’t think I’m going to make it bro,” he whined, more so playfully than anything else as a note book tumble from his arms and down the stairs. “Fuck...”

"bhangarh fort.” amadeo states clearly as he gets off of his pegasus and points to the palace. he’s brought presley to india. the palace doesn’t even seem like it belongs there since it’s only surrounded by wildlife. “some say a sorcerer placed a curse on the whole palace after a princess rejected him. that’s why most of the palace, if not all, is uninhabited!” somehow that makes him smile a bit. technically it isn’t closed off to the public. people are simply too spooked to enter. “are you ready?”

“have you made any progress on the houses documentaries?“ amadeo promised presley before that he was genuinely curious on the things he was working on and he isn’t going to back out now. while he doesn’t have a pen and paper on hand, he does have his mind. he seems to be able to hold onto information better now. “or at least any of the topics that you mentioned? i’m here to pay up on what we spoke about and hear everything you have to say.” he grins slightly and sits down.

"so tell me, expert investigator, have you had any luck with the night’s watch here?” amadeo nudges presley with his elbow, keeping his arms crossed as he stands next to him. “you have a lot of information that you’ve gained since i’ve known you, so i’m sure they’ll help you obtain even more.” maybe he was also looking to live up to his promise of training.
