My advice

Do your research. I cant empathize this enough. Dont do any practices that are closed (such as voodoo or hoodoo), dont worship any deities who are closed, dont use any herbs that are closed (such as white sage since its specifically for indigenous people). It will backfire onto you.

Working with deities is 100% beginner friendly! You can use simple things also like candles from the thrift shop if you're just getting started. Open deities/pantheons are Greek gods, Norse gods, and Egyptian gods. Look them all up! And if you feel drawn to any of the deities, worship and work with them.

Note: deities are not like the catholic or Christian God, they're alot kinder. If you see anything online that says "you need to look the best for deities and not mess up infront of them!1!1!" Dont believe it. They dont care if you're messy or have a messy room, just be respectful.

You cant hide from deities, they will always know your name. But say that you talk to the faes one day, never give them your real name, use a fake one. If you give them your real name they can taunt you with it. Same thing if a demon tries to make a deal with you, give them a fake name

Speaking of demons trying to make deals... if you ever do make a deal with one, before you make the deal, get their name. If the demon ends up tricking you, tell the faes its name, faes are stronger than demons

Not all demons are evil and not all angels are good! Some demons are kind and some angels are assholes

I know yall like angels alot! So heres some info about them :)

Yes, you can work and worship the angels! But be cautious

They have very strong energy. When I met the Archangel Gabriel his energy was strong I almost felt like passing out

What ever you do, never pray to the angels. Why? Because they're not like humans, they're not sympathetic or empathetic at all. They dont feel like how humans feel

I'll give you an example: say that you want a car and you pray to the angels for a car.. what theyll do is theyll make you have a car crash then after the car crash theyll give you the car you prayed for.

Instead of praying to all of the angels, pray to a specific one like Gabriel or your guardian angel.

If you still want to work with the angels; work with the archangels Gabriel or Raphael, they're kind. The archangel micheal is scary, be cautious if you want to talk to him.

You can also work with demons! I suggest Asmoday or Stolas since they're kind, you can learn about them in the lesser key of Solomon

Practice warding and protection especially.
