Enchanted Sand
Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement)
This powerful sand was created by destroying rocks pulled from the realm of dreams. It was refined and processed by a powerful wizard. They kept most of the strange sand for themselves but handed down a small pouch of it to an apprentice. Since then, it has changed hands dozens of times.
Enchanted Sand still retains some of the magical powers from its home realm. The pouch holds 6 uses of the enchanted sand. If this sand is sprinkled over a sleeping creature. The one attuned to the pouch can alter the creature’s dreams. If the creature is immune to the charmed condition the sand has no effect.
If the creature experiences good dreams, the one attuned to the pouch has advantage on all persuasion checks against the target for the next 24 hours. If the creature has nightmares, the one attuned to the pouch has advantage on all intimidation checks for the next 24 hours.
In addition, if a pinch of Enchanted Sand is used as the material component for Sleep, the caster rolls d12s instead of d8s when determining the total amount of hit points effected by the spell.
The pouch regains 1d6 uses of Enchanted Sand when the one attuned to the pouch finishes a long rest.
