Of all the kinds of magic, Seokjin prefers enchanters’ magic most. Loves the power to entrance and beguile, captivate and mesmerize. Loves walking into a room and knowing everyone wants to be him, be with him, or be on him.

Yet of all the kinds of magic, Seokjin practices enchanters’ magic least.

It’s just that he doesn’t need magic to charm people.

He’s good at that all on his own.

When General Min Yoongi meets the new court sorcerer, Kim Seokjin, Yoongi is sure the man will prove to be more of a liability than of help.

What he doesn't expect is for the court sorcerer to prove him wrong.

And what Yoongi certainly doesn't expect is to fall in love with Seokjin.

According to Seokjin, marigolds are the funniest flowers. When he opens the shop in the morning, they greet him with the best jokes while the roses scoff petulantly, as if they’re too good for a pun or two.

Yoongi can’t hear the marigolds. But he watches Seokjin giggle madly to himself while he waters the flowers during his afternoon rounds, so Yoongi believes Seokjin nonetheless.

Or, as the marigolds would say, Yoongi beleafs him.
