That was a very trumpian era season. I feel bad for Jacob, Assad and Delaney. They deserved better.
And we the viewers deserved better than a season that was primarily an exposition of incest. How many different ways will they show Lestat boinking his mom? We’ve actually not seen as many scenes, in three seasons, of Louis and Lestat having sex.
And TVL defenders, this writing is not deep, despite you fighting for your lives to call this high art “that is going over everyone’s heads”. This season was basic as hell. Every single mechanism used to redeem and absolve Lestat was clunky and visible.
