Hello Mae! I just wanna know what your opinion is on about using ChatGPT to write fanfics. Maybe like they give prompts and read it and then write something similar about in their own way? Or using the ai for ideas and titles?
I am anti-ai in every way, shape, and form. It's evil, it's fucking up our world and our brains, and on a fundamental level I disagree with outsourcing creativity and thought. I'm sorry to be harsh, because I can tell you're asking from a place of curiosity and you're trying to do the writing yourself, but my honest opinion is that I think you could probably (definitely) get ideas from somewhere else and there's no need to use chatgpt as a middleman. Moreover, the more often you use ai for ideas, I think you'll find it becomes more difficult to come up with them yourself. (Also, sidenote--I assume we're talking about fanfiction here, but just in case you're working on anything original, material sourced from ai is not copyrightable and reputable publishers won't publish it.) Again, sorry for being harsh, but I feel really really strongly about this, please please find another way!
