so im watching stanger things because apparently i was in the 0.001% of the population that hasnt. and i have managed to get attached to one character in ht efirt episode. guess what. saw your reblog and please allow me to explain the devil's sacrament (gax in vegas 2024), basically a lot of popular clips of them are from that race weekend (the one where george hands max his coat back in the middle of the media pen, the one where max taps george straight in the chest to catch his attention as they pass each other, and more..) and basically after the race george is a 3-time grand prix winner and max is a 4-time world champion. there's this whole meme with george's wins always getting overshadowed by something else, well this time it was max verstappen's fucking 4th world title. but anyway after the race, max goes up to congratulate george and george homoerotically grabs his whole arm and puts their helmets very very close and asks "going out tonight??" and max goes all slack and smiley and says "yess i think so x3"
then george posts this. ff to the next weekend (qatar) and george is getting interviewed while max lurks ominously in the background; and he finds a way to mention he saw max at the bar at 9 in the morning "nodding off" and then the interviewer asks max if that's true but in a fit of panic george speaks over him and says sth "yeah but he didn't see me he was too drunk ahah". btw like 20 seconds later he calls max a "man of many talents" while max in the background awkwardly adjusts his cap. lol. and then they had their massive public crashout and the rest is history
