“You’re so cute when you’re sleepy.” Julius grins over his book, watching his partner gently. He notes that Madiraska is draped over comfortably in the large chair that rested in the corner of the homey library. Their home. That only makes the Librarian grin even more as he dog-ears the page of his book, setting it onto the desk.
It’s another moment of shuffling out from the large stacks of books, and then he’s off to Maddi, leaning down to press a firm kiss to his left temple, his hand resting on the worn fabric of the old chair, a knee resting beside the mordesh’s leg. The grin is still there when he slides into Maddi’s lap, and it gets even wider when the solider wraps him up in his arms.
It’s a few moments of smiling and resting his head on Maddi’s chest before they’re both asleep, by the holographic fire, resting in each other’s arms.
