Obito: Yes, sweetheart?

Madei: If there's a Tooth Fairy, are there fairies for other bones aswell?

Obito: Hmm... there might be. I haven't lost a bone before to tell. Well... not a bone I could keep to give to a fairy, anyway.

Madei: Maybe I should ask Uncle Hidan.

Obito: He might know.

Madei: I'll be back, Daddy! I need answers!!!

Obito: Of course, sunshine. Be safe.

Madei burst into a fit of giggles, kneeling down and petting the fluffy birds. Her father came up behind her with their feed.

"Ready to go?"

"Mmhm!!"

Madei picked up two buckets of her own, one filled with chicken food and the other with food for the geese. They walked down to the pens together, and the ducks followed behind them, waiting to be fed.

Obito took care to watch where he stood, the dirt wet and slippery from the rain. Madei followed in suit, Obito catching her whenever she did slip. Madei was getting better at keeping her feet on the ground though.

They laid out the food in the different pens, checking on the eggs and the young birds before moving onto the next lot of animals.

"Goats now? Or piggies?"

"Goats. I fed the pigs this morning before the rain. We'll do the cows too on the way."

Madei nodded, holding her fathers hand on the way up to the food barrels. There was a system when it came to feeding. All of the animals knew it well after many years of living on Obito's farm. Small changes usually caused minor discourse, but they would always be brought back to happiness.

Obito lifted the heavy buckets onto the back of the quad bike while Madei pulled faces at the dogs in the kennel. Not mean ones, playful ones to brighten their day just a little. They were sad, because they couldn't go outside to play because of the rain.

She heard her father open the gate and she jumped on the front of the seat to wait, looking at the buttons and the pedals with much intrigue. Obito explained what they did once again on the way down to the paddock. Madei giggled at all the bumps in the road, holding Obito tightly.

"Daddy! Look! One of the goats had babies!"

Obito stopped the quad to look, lifting Madei off and watching her go up to the fence.

"There's two babies, Daddy! Can I name them?"

"Absolutely."

Madei stuck her hands through the fence to pat the big goats, not confident enough to pat the babies. She didn't want to hurt them.

Obito gave them their food and moved down to the cows, letting Madei sit with the goats. When he came back, Madei had jumped up on the quad ready to go. The rain started up again.

Obito: Hmm... What do you think?

Madei: I think he's a fraud. A big man in a red suit, giving millions of kids gifts every year in one night? Doesn't make sense to me. Plus, a kid in my grade got an Xbox. Elves don't make Xbox's! Machines do!!!

Obito: That makes a lot of sense to me.

Madei: ... How come you don't know if he's real or not, Daddy?

Obito: Santa never came to me, but he came to other kids. Maybe I was just a very bad kid.

Madei: Silly, Daddy! If you were a bad kid, Krampus would have taken you already!

Obito: Krampus?

Madei: Mmhm! He takes care of the naughty kids. Beats them with sacks of coal and sticks, and then takes them away to eat them!

Obito: Oh, I see... he sounds rather fun. Where did you learn of him?

Madei: A movie Uncle Hidan showed me. Then I read about him more on the internet! I like him, he's fun. But I'm always good so I'll never get to meet him.

Obito: Good. I don't want you taken away from me. You're my beautiful daughter. No one is taking you from me. *picks her up a s hugs her* Definitely not someone who hits you with sticks and bags of coal.
