I can remember something distant,

Scarce,

Slipping through my hands easily

Like the hands of time.

Colors flash past me,

Painting a vivid dream that

I can reach,

Feeling the emotions,

They drown me.

These feelings,

Foreign yet familiar,

I cannot tell where they are from,

The memory unknown to me.

It all slips away,

Something once solid now dust,

Leaving me with opened eyes

And feelings I cannot identify.

These old memories,

I can never find them,

They only return when I slip

Into the world of slumber.

I want to remember them,

Hng I'm helping with my friends nonprofit and they wanted a picture of me but I don't like pictures of myself especially online so I did a sort of self portrait :3
