How are you today?: GOOD. The bacterial infection in my throat is starting to clear up and I am no longer full of pus and mucus, which in my opinion is always a plus.
What’s your name?: Lane! Although I fully admit that this is an alias I use for RPing online.
How old are you?: I turned 31 on March 8!

Where are you from?: I grew up in northern Indiana and returned there for college, but most of the rest of my life has been lived in various cities along the east coast in Virginia.
Do you work? Are you a student?: I have a full-time job working for the US Dept of Defense and a full-time job as a mom to an 18 month-old boy.
ABOUT YOUR WRITING:
How long have you been writing?: Since I was 14, so longer than the sun and the planets have existed, approximately.
How many characters do you have here or elsewhere?: I have just Beau and Cesar right now, and on Saturday I opened a TINY TINY rp group based on the Warblers from Glee, because I am composed of 99% nostalgia and 1% pure Glee trash.
What’s your favorite type of RP to be in? Um, this one??
What’s your favorite type of character to play? Antiheroes, tbh. So more along the lines of Micah and Ben. Neither Cesar or Beau are what I would call my "usual" kind of character, but man I love these two idiots.
ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER:
Do you relate to your character(s)?: Not especially. In a lot of ways, both of them represent attributes that I wish I had (unselfishness, their capacity for absolutely unconditional love, an enduring childlike innocence about things and people in spite of living in a world that's so incredibly harsh, and a natural inclination to be pretty much unfailingly friendly to others and to want to see the best in them).
Do you think you and your characters are similar in any way?: I wish? Like they are both super good people with big, humongous hearts, but at the end of the day not really so much similar to me. I think I was most similar to Ben (RIP little kumquat).
Would you and your characters be friends IRL?: I would DEFINITLEY want to be Cesar's friend. He loves to have a good time and goes out of his way to make his friends laugh and feel comfortable and distract them if they're having a bad day. I'm not sure I'd have the patience to be friends with Beau. I've known people sort of like him IRL before and while I love and respect the fact that he's still so, so good deep down in spite of the horrible things he's gone through, I am -not- a patient person IRL. I would probably get angry and annoyed at him for making stupid, self-destructive choices and for always caving to other people's needs and desires to his own detriment.

Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest? Lucille Ball or LM Montgomery. My top two lady heroes.
If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be? Fucking flying.
What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about? Depends on the audience.
Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire. After saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item. What would it be? Why? My mom embroidered part of Song for a Fifth Child by Ruth Hulbert Hamilton onto a canvas back when she was pregnant with me and it's currently framed and hanging in my son's room. I cry every single time I read it.
