HONEST TO A FAULT, RICHARD WAS SIMPLY BEING HONEST. He didnât want to know. He doesnât need to know and he knows with far more confidence than he has in a while that he doesnât want to know the details about how the android murdered an android without so much as hesitation.Â
Vision that had been locked somewhere over Taienâs shoulder, staring at the wall behind him rather than the ST unitâs face. That would suggest he was interested in the way heâs baiting Richard into saying something heâd regret later on. Heâs already regretting being the one to talk to the android, the RK unit really doesnât want to see whatâs in that file - perhaps hyperaware of his own... Issues with the more brutal side of their occupational field.Â
âThatâs not--â Without consciously deciding on the action, grey gaze is drawn to the images - LED flashing red for a split second at the sight as his vision lingers for far longer than heâd thought heâd allow himself. His systems grind to a halt before somehow Richard finds the presence to less than gently slam the folder closed - hiding the images from sight and allowing his vision to fully grace Taien from where he stands across the desk before him.Â
Thereâs a bite to his gaze, ice cold grey narrowing and hands linking behind his back in a futile attempt to hide how much the other androidâs words really affected him.Â
âIâm here to do my job nothing more than that. Like you did yours. I donât...â A pause, for thought? Or maybe an attempt to blink away the fear lingering in the back of his mind - knowing what the other was capable of? Whatever it was, Richardâs jaw works before he finds the words to respond. âIt doesnât anger me. I donât wish that on anyone - what you put her through.â
