eliot quirks a brow , leaning back in his chair . the room is cold and his seat is uncomfortable , but that's to be expected . this isn't his first interrogation . this is , though , the first time his interrogator has been a laptop screen -- blank but for the letter A scrawled in some fancy cursive . ( he'd never admit it , but it's kind of off - putting . )
" this what excites you ? " he questions , tilting his head in the most utterly casual manner he can . " talkin' to guys through a computer screen ? sounds boring to me . "
