I'm pretty hyped recently. I feel like a kid that's just got a new toy. A toy he's been wishing for many months. And the dream just came through. I bought a 1993 Suzuki GSX-F 1100. A very neglected bike,  that's been through a lot... but with an excellent and lively engine. And the engine is what I'm after. I will put it in my Katana build. Let's call it stage 2... I'm pretty hyped about this! Therefore I was motivated to search for the original Suzuki Katana builds to make sure the engine will fit nicely. So here it is - a Top 5 Katana custom builds list. They're not at all a standard custom builds. Katana is so characteristic that it just doesn't inspire to create "another" cafe racer. The XSR900 series... One one hand - Yamaha did a great job with the MT series. These machines are up to the task. They offer extraordinary performance and ride quality for a very competitive price. But... on the other hand - I don't get that the company with such heritage in the classic segment is so annoyingly aggressive with its marketing. Trying to convince the buyer, that a rebranded MT line, called XSR, is the retro segment they have. They can do better!!! Regardless of some personal expectations... Read the full article

Macco Motors will always have a special place on this website. It was one of their builds, that pushed me to search for and then modify my Suzuki GSX750S "Katana". It was the "Iron Fist" that started it all along with the Icon 1000 build: The New Jack. So I'm always happy to show their new build (this one is three months old). It's a nice followup to the "James" from Street Garage. I find these 2 Honda's quite similar and yet... so different. Read the full article
