since i usually use my dearest Mawile, kirico, in gym fights, i train her aginst some of the carbink in reflection cavern to be rather gentle in her attacks. Sometimes i have sparing battles with korina to ensure we still stay sharp enough for other challenging trainers should they come by.
my bronzong named Sarah along with my wormadam called mira do the occasional hide and seek so i can keep myself sharp in finding things that aren't supposed to be there, which is REALLY important when i'm the supervisor of Reflection cavern. kirico keepers can sometimes be doing things they shouldn't, you know?

I do suppose clemont counts as a rival. We're both gym leaders with verying views on how the wprld runs and we both compete with one another pokemon battle wise.
