sasha walked into the museum, immediately going up to some art. hera said she'd know when they were there, that they didn't have to inform anyone. something about senses. but sash was still getting used to their new diet. they weren't quite ready to dive head first into life of the undead. ha. ha. ha? but they also knew the smart thing to do was get help. learn. school. and hera was too old for sasha to think about, but smart. they hear the vampire before she comes into view, which is weird, but immediately looks for a garbage to throw out their empty iced coffee, feeling like they're breaking a rule. ❝ shit. shit. ❞ they stop fidgeting when hera gets closer. ❝ great day. super great. except ... when the hell was anyone going to tell me about dragons? and why do they look like people? that's weird. ❞ from nervous to freak out in seconds as their latest bit information came out.

charvitha was still on her quest to unravel the town. only now, she did have some good intentions. they were still selfish, but wouldn't only benefit her and bisma. the reaper may not have been in the town long, but the witch knew enough. they were an ethics professor and old, a mind she had a feeling she'd want to pick. a smile graces her face when she approaches the other, she knows how to play cautious, nice, when she doesn't know someone. ❝ you're professor castillo, right? do you mind if i sit?, ❞ she motions to the empty chair across from the other. ❝ i don't know many reapers and maybe you could feed my curiosity? for the sake of the town. ❞ oh, she knew just how to act like all other the little witches.

the gorgon wouldn't really call herself a gym rat. aside from spars with matty and occasionally enjoying joining linus, she wasn't one much for the gym at all. but she wasn't really one to sit idly by and pent up anger could usually get the best of hansa. hayden was always a nice balance to that, someone who helped her let things out while not letting her get to her boiling point. ❝ this is really not as fun as hitting people, ❞ she says having finished a third set with the trainer. ❝ people pay you to let you do this to them? masochists. ❞

it didn't matter if adelaide was out late the night before or her night was plagued by nightmares, she rose with the sun, preferring the quiet of early morning and the smell of fresh dew that still lingered. it helped clear her busy mind — busy with words and feelings not always her own. somehow it seemed even the ghosts knew to give her a break. an herbal tea warms her hands and taz trots at her side while she walks towards the park, smiling at a familiar face in the distance. ❝ you're out early. it's nice, right? ❞ almost feels like they could trust things will be okay.

while portum was in disarray, the shifter hadn't seen the wolf that much. or many others, really. but everyone was going through something. since the bonfire things had been as close to normal as it could be. he walks into hallowed grounds and sees her drawing. after getting his coffee, benedicto sits at the table next to theirs so he has to look over their shoulder to see what they're drawing today. it'd been a while. ❝ que milagro, ❞ he cracks a smile and leans a little more. ❝ what are you working on? ❞

things had been weird around theo lately, and hyunwoo finally knew why. how they didn't see it long ago was frustrating, but now he couldn't unsee it. and even though the witch tried to keep things normal, hyunwoo could feel the tension whenever they were around each other. maybe if she knew who was looking for her, it would put her at ease. it seemed to be the angel's lucky day. no rain had darkened the sky yet, and a familiar form was leaving hallowed grounds as they approached. walking paid off for once. ❝ theo! i hope i can bother you for a moment. ❞ he jogs to catch up, slowing once reaching the other. ❝ do you have some time? ❞ this wasn't the kind of thing you just dropped out of nowhere. hyunwoo knew people could get spooked and she was more dangerous than she looked. definitely didn't wanna spook.

the museum was pretty empty. a few strays walked about, as did vitha, but she wasn't really there to peruse art. instead heading to let someone know she's there's to see hera, and be directed to the vampire. perhaps portum wasn't the best place for the witch to be anymore, but she was too addicted to the magic entrapped in it to give it up just yet. there was so much she didn't know about the town. she just had to settle things a little. ❝ here on business today, ❞ she says with a grin when she and hera are alone. ❝ i was hoping you could help me find something. ❞

portum was full of little groups, tethered off together and celebrating in their own ways. charvitha had sent bisma to be with her family, letting the little one have more than vitha could ever get back for herself. not exactly being one for groups, the witch finds herself walking instead of buried in books — reading and plotting being her usual distractions. ❝ it is beautiful, ❞ she says, commenting on the other taking a picture. ❝ i have always preferred a more city feel though. ❞ no one paid much attention to others in cities. then again, she was learning she was one of the least suspicious characters there. ❝ i would ask if you're cold out here but i suppose not, hm? must be nice. ❞
