Mac: Wh—What do you mean there won’t be an after? We’re getting married... aren’t we?

Thorn closed her eyes and took a few deep breathes. She knew she was hurting Mac, which is the opposite of what she ever wanted to do, but she couldn’t let herself go through with the wedding.

Mac: Why!? Yesterday you seemed so—

Thorn: Yesterday, you seemed so happy and excited and ready for this. I wanted to talk so we could avoid this moment, but you and my moms were moving so fast and—

Mac: Don’t blame me and your moms because you didn’t speak up, Thorn! If you needed to say something so bad, you should have!

Thorn: I know, I know, Mac. I know this is my fault, but I just, I can’t do this. I think I’ve known for a really, really long time that we want different things out of life. I’ve just been pushing that aside because I love you, but—

Thorn: I feel like I’m gonna be sick.

Allie: Oh no, haha, I had nausea early on in my pregnancy with you too!

Thorn: Mac! Mac, wait! 

Mac: Thorn E. You just made me the happiest guy in all of Willow Creek. If only we could get married tomorrow.

Thorn: To—Tomorrow?

Red: I think tomorrow sounds perfect! I’ll go make some calls and set everything up!

Thorn: You want me to marry you.

Mac: You took the words right out of my mouth. So, what do you say?

Thorn stayed frozen. How could she possibly tell Mac that she wanted to break up after he asked her to marry him?

Allie: Thorn, honey, you need to respond.

Thorn: So, um, I think I’m pregnant.

Mac: You... think?

Thorn: Ummmm, more so I know. I know I’m pregnant...

Mac: That’s WONDERFUL!!!! Have you told your moms?! Let’s go tell your moms!!!!
