But we knew we wanted the girls, or at least one, to be struggling with figuring out want they wanted. This ended up being Pacifica who was confused growing up with her parents saying girls and boys get married and that's it. So when Mabel came into her life Pacifica did all she could to try and change the way she felt but she couldn't. She didn't need to change and that was so foreign for her. Pacifica tried to ignore her feelings but she couldn't forget the memory of Mabel and her's first kiss.
