Strange what this world had become. In all it's modern flair, all of these ants were still working on the same basic instincts of survival and reproduction. Their needs were easily met, easily taken too. When he had decided to move to America, well he had not expected much.
And yet, he did marvel at the stupidity that was the humans' genius. The song was as old as he sometimes. What rapidly enamored him was those children of his that came here, made themselves quite particular in so many ways. It did not really take him much to figure out that New Orleans was a preferred home for many of them. French flair he guessed. It was quite endearing and nourishing for his soul and knowledge.
The thought still made him lick over one of his canine, but he had to behave as he dragged some poor soul into the Ed of this trauma center. "I am very sorry to jump the line, but I think my friend is overdosing" he pulled the young man he had picked up hours earlier and brought him to the front. He looked like he was about to pass out. Truly the only thing holding him up was his nail on his nervous system, feeding it some life.
Urgent enough to make the entry easy into the main floor of a theater that actually made him smile in awe. What a magnificent sight of misery and talent. What a thrill ... what a ... there she was. That scent he had picked up. His eyes went on the charge nurse. Suggestion whispered into her head. Words spoken for the woman to take on this patient. Dracula followed and remained on the side lines. Medicine was fascinating to him, he had had a hand in the early stages of surgery many moons ago, all of these was so very new and delightful. "Will he live? " he asked with such a caring nature. "I ...I found him like that in front of my door, I'm not sure what he took..."
