but he was with your sister. your sister was his world, his earth. and to your sister, woojin was the sun. the one who grants life to the earth, who enables the flowers to florish.

“did you–are you seriously asleep right now?” you hiss, without even attempting to move your shoulder or wake him up in any way. his hair tickles your skin but you try your best to not laugh since you don’t want to draw the teacher’s attention to the both of you.

when the bell rings, woojin almost falls off his chair, blinking at you with horror. “what did i miss?”

whether it be purposely hiding your sister’s favourite plushie, or eating a fruit that gone bad. there are things that will happen because of what you chose to do. 

this was no different. 

you shouldn’t have done it, but you did. you confessed to park woojin. do you regret it? yes because you can’t believe you did it. you silently hit your head. how could you let this happen? what if woojin decides to separate himself from you? what if he decides to leave you? 

but at the same time, you don’t regret it. because it’s been so many years of loving him in secret, constantly hiding your feelings behind masks. constantly lying to your heart. you felt relieved, gratified. 

but your confidence shook once you heard the shuffling beside you. woojin still has a look of shock on his face, clearly not sure what he should do at this moment.

you felt sad, not because he is quite obviously going to reject you, but also because he’s taking a long time to respond. you would’ve hoped that it wouldn’t be as awkward as this even if he were to reject you. but it looks like that won’t happen.

you closed your eyes, not wanting to see woojin’s face when he rejects you. but instead of a rejection, you felt something soft on your lips.

park woojin had just kissed you.
