Haunted Hospital

It was absolutely exciting. The empty hallways moaned with the wind, the impressively large facility crumbling from disuse, and his favourite part was what your brain did in a situation like this— it became imaginative. Because of the lack of people it would create images for you, or noises, or even better a scene. The brain was such a fascinating thing. Kisuke believed himself to be a scientific man, but he was so fascinated by situations that were hard to understand– thus lead him here.
His musing was cut short as he heard his name being called by his classmate. He didn’t quite remember how he and Kenpachi agreed to do this, just that it happened. The blonde grinned widely and he slinked from the edge of the hallway to the reception desk. He propped his arms on the counter and leaned forward, grey eyes landing on his large friend’s back.
“Sorry for keeping you waiting Kenpachi-san.” He chimed happily, excitement spewing from every word. He could not wait to see what laid in store for them, but his nerves were alive and ready.
The blonde moved out from behind the desk and closer to Kenpachi, only coming to the man’s shoulder, and glanced up with a smile. “Where do you want to explore first? Though I think we need to be careful about structural integrity so we may have to avoid a floor or two.”
The sudden chirp of Kisuke’s voice caused Kenpachi’s head to snap around, and he frowned.
“Geez, the fuck you tryin’ to do, give me a heart attack,” he groused, half-serious. Why had he agreed to this again?
He shrugged at the question. Where exactly they started in this god-forsaken place didn’t matter as much to him, so long as they got it over with.
“Lead the way. Did ya bring a flashlight?”
