           OF COURSE it had to happen when she was at school. and of course she had to not be prepared. she was always prepared. just not today. from where she sat in the girl’s bathroom, riley sat on the seat. she was embarrassed. so damn embarrassed and she didn’t know what to do. all she wanted to do was runaway and hide her face. forever. hearing a knock on the door, Riley frowned before calling out “No one’s HOME.”

"Hopefully, back to someone I love very much.” Udyati’s lips twitch upwards into an easy smile. She runs a hand through her hair afterwards. “I mean, I’ve got multiple people I love very much.” Like her friends. “But... it’s different. The love I have for him is different.”

leaving the fight between him and topanga may have seemed like his way of avoiding conversation, and maybe deep down it was, but for the most part he was just trying to keep his anger in check. now that he realizes he could have done or said things differently, he’s found himself struggling to climb up to topanga’s bedroom window—it was the second best option after holding up a boom box and playing some sappy song by peter gabriel. unfortunately, he doesn’t have a boom box. a lack of strength and coordination makes this feel impossible, but somehow he manages to finally perch himself outside her window, gently rapping his knuckles against the glass.

magnolia’s eyes scan the crowd while attorney lawrence speaks.  the camera follows her gaze,  we see what she does.  first emmett,  then aspen.  when she answers the question her eyes lose focus.  we are the crowd looking at her.  expectant.  waiting.  she speaks again and this time her eyes find a new target: former research manager charlotte langford.  the woman who stole her voice. 

“sorry to be a bother but how’s the coffee here? me & my little girl just moved and i’m trying to figure out if i’m going to be blowing my spare cash on coffee or strictly making it at home”

                                           “ mrs. matthews ? ” her voice is soft as she approaches. a friendly smile tugging on her lips once the woman turns around. a cup of coffee in her hand, she carefully holds it out for her. from what she’s seen, she always gets hers from the vending machine and jess feels she could use some proper caffeine. “ the nurses make much better coffee than the machine could ever give you. ” she waits patiently for her to take it before carrying on. “ how’s auggie doing? he should be going home in a few days, no ? ”
