DAY ONE AT THE STUDIO
After scoping out Keystone Art Studios for about a year, we're finally moving in! Â Our friends Jason and Sacha (Somewhere Something) have had a space at Keystone for quite a while and we've been inspired by the group of artists and opportunities for creative collaboration that exist within this warehouse on the east side of LA. Â
Moving into our studio means the start of something new for us.  While we work full-time at our 9-5 as architectural designers and have been taking on several side projects in our free time, we finally have a place to truly cultivate all of the creative ideas that have been brewing in our heads.  Â
While we're super excited to finally get to making (our first projects will be some pieces of furniture) we've still got a little bit of business to deal with. Â We spent the day today priming the space for some crisp white paint that will soon cover the walls (along with a collage mural I've got brewing in my head and maybe a few colorful accents around the room). Â
Oh, and we also got our door hung! Â As soon as we've fully occupied the space we'll get to customizing this as well. Â Until then, stay tuned - this is the start of something exciting! Â
