brent rocked his body forward, as he knocked on the door. the tired expression laid upon his face, lighting up immediately. a quick smile finding its way to his lips as his eyes meet the other’s. “—before you close the door on my face,” he waved a hand vaguely in the air. picking up the bag of snacks back from the floor and showing it to them. “i know it’s late, but i bought a lot of food that i probably couldn’t eat on my own, and then halfway home i remember you really like those sweet round things that kinda taste like chocolate and super delicious,—” he waved his hand in the air. “you know what i’m talking about, right? right. so, —i bought you some, and i was wondering if maybe you wanna eat that and play video games or walk around, or, i don’t know, anything?”

( fc: natalia dyer ) so here’s the story from a-z: this is a pair of twins whose fortunes were not shared. siobhan always had it all –– she was born three minutes before, she had endless potential, and everyone knew she was the IT GIRL. aoife was content to hang out in the shadows as her sister took the world by storm. occasionally, her twin would be invite her places, allowing her to be around friendly faces every so often. however, fate changed its mind one day, a week following their high school graduation. the two were taking a drive –– a rare example of the twins bonding one-on-one –– when suddenly siobhan ( the only one with a license ) spun the wheel too hard on the slick, back road and flipped the car. she was killed on sight. while nervously dialing the police, aofie was struck with a question that awakened a brand new world: “what is your name?” after a pause, she answered “siobhan rowling” and worked to rearrange the scene before first responders arrived, taking her place behind the wheel while nursing her injuries.
