if you're arguing that support needs labels are harmful and force autistic people into boxes that represent extremes, and then you have to pretend MSN//level 2 autism doesn't exist in order to say these labels dictate someone must be either LSN or HSN, i will not be listening to a word you say tbh
been having worse issues with overstimulation the last 2 days, so annoying, i'm only just on my phone not doing much at all but i get so overstimulated i can't even listen to videos with talking, on the verge of melting down, today all i was doing was playing a restaurant game with a slow paced video playing quietly and usually im able to do that but guess not today.
it's really i guess interesting to see posts about autism from people who are not very similar to me. i recently saw an autistic person talking about how they became hyper-independent due to issues with social communication. it's very interesting that can also be an outcome of autism. for me, social communication difficulties only contribute to my inability to live independently.
i have always struggled to relate to a lot of the content i have found about autism online, pretty much just because mine is level 2. on the other hand, i have a lot of people tell me about how different autism looks for me than they're used to. i wish our voices were heard more since it is difficult for people to understand why my autism doesn't match their perception of autism.
straight up got overstimulated by my air conditioner why did they invent a brain that cannot cope with white noise

i have now purchased a sort of canopy for my bed. the house i'm living in right now is a good environment but is unfortunately very overstimulating for reasons that cannot be controlled or changed and so every other week i am constantly overwhelmed and on the verge of meltdowns or melting down actively. so the strategy is kind of making my bedroom as much of a nest as possible and figuring out how to really effectively block out sound (i'm trying to find out if there are better ear defenders than mine) and of course i get more support those weeks.
being chronically ill and physically disabled on top of mental illness and developmental disabilities is so cruel lol. yea let's give the guy who's always overwhelmed and afraid a million extra things they have to do and a million extra things to be afraid about
